Took out the powered usb hub and things calmed down (mostly).Ģ months later it got worse again, could not start the mac without going into safe mode etc.no kernal panics,but lots of freezes ,crashing and all sorts of weirdness, mind you my Applecare warranty was 2 weeks away from expiring !!! In August i had all sorts of startup issues,freezes,kernel panics etc.seemed to be usb related. If this is a new mac you should not be having all of these problems,i think it might be a hardware problem.
